Professionally, my story has various chapters, working with youth and families for the last 25 years, including youth ministry and parent education. The seed was planted in ministry, and the bond built with youth and their parents gave way to passion for connecting their needs to the right resource.

Personally, I have had the opportunity to reflect on my own story, which started more than 20 years ago with the birth of my daughter, and my son soon after, adding another great chapter. As their mom, I worried: What if I raise self-centered kids? How do I raise my children to be friends? What if I fail as a mom? What if my kids hate me? What happens if they don’t listen? Is there really joy in parenting? Nevertheless, my kids have grown up to demonstrate love, hope, and resiliency through challenges. I am thankful that, throughout those challenges, I was surrounded by support from family, friends, and my loving spouse.

My own growth and parenting journey stemmed from parenting classes, reading, and finding hope every step of the way. As my children grew and my parenting goals expanded, I found my calling as a parenting coach. I am a Certified Parenting Coach.
